KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!

Herbal Education

Have you ever wished you could start your journey into herbal education, but felt you didn’t have the time, resources, or opportunity?

Our affordable and convenient program gives students with little or no herbal experience a glimpse into the world of herbs, kindling an enthusiasm for a lifelong path of learning. By the end of the Introductory Herbal Course, you will feel more comfortable AND excited about making your own teas, tinctures, and body care products.

Get ready to mix up new recipes in the kitchen, use spices and herbs you never knew had medicinal properties, and walk away inspired to pursue your herbal studies at the intermediate level and beyond!

Learning Herbalism

An introduction to the broad subject of plant medicine using extremely common worldwide "weeds".

Learn about why herbalism is different from Western medicine, how natural balance is the key to good health, and how to make your own basic apothecary from the plants you encounter during your adventures.

We will cover a basic history of various herbal traditions, learn about the specific medicinal properties of certain plants and start to delve into how to prepare them for personal use.

This introductory level class will teach you how to integrate herbs into your daily life and how to make herbal preparations and body care products for daily care and common ailments. You’ll learn the medicinal properties of familiar herbs and spices (as well as those not yet familiar to you) and explore their therapeutic uses. The engaging lessons, beautiful presentation, and sound knowledge will delight the learner in you and instill an appreciation for the gifts herbalism has to offer, inspiring your future studies as well.

After successfully completing the final evaluation you are immediately presented with a Certificate of Completion. This course is for informational purposes, not for college credit.

Completing this course will not give you a license to practice any form of medicine. In most localities, there is no official certification recognized for "herbalist".  However, this does vary from region to region, so you should check with your local authorities before engaging in such practices.

If you earn our certificate you will by definition be "certified" so you may, at your option, refer to yourself as a "Certified Herbalist", but again we recommend you comply with the local laws and regulations of your locality.

Holistic Nutrition

This class is designed to teach you how to help others develop and keep on track with their healing journey.

You will learn how to identify environmental and food toxins, healing herbs, detoxification, foods that heal, anatomy, foods that do harm, and consultation skills.

Anything holistic is based on the principle of holism: parts of a whole are interconnected. When it comes to health, holistic typically refers to the belief that you need to look at the whole, interconnected person.

So one way to define holistic nutrition is the process of taking food into the body and absorbing the nutrients in those foods based on the principle that everything is connected in some way.

Holistic nutrition requires a whole-life approach—when and where you eat, where your food comes from, and what your food ate. Holistic nutrition can also include a specific cultural philosophy—like Ayurveda or Traditional Chinese Medicine—or a specific diet—such as ancestral foods, raw foods, cleansing, vegetarianism, or anti-inflammatory, for example. What’s important to remember is that holistic nutrition is individual. We all have different strengths, weaknesses, and lifestyle needs that require different approaches.

Overall the class was great!!! The best part was mixing up the herbal infusion. I also enjoyed taking the test ( to give ourselves proof we were paying attention).

I Loved the Certificate and that we receive it the same day. Looking forward to future trainings.

Please keep me posted.
